How to use this product?

Instructions for use:
  • Open a sachet aseptically.
  • Clean and disinfect the wound and its surrounding area with a compress, an antiseptic solution/soap or other active ingredient and dry the wound with a compress. If necessary, monitor wound hemostasis (stop any flow of blood).
  • Depending on the size of the wound and the amount of exudates, cover the wound with 1 or 2 compresses. Fix with adhesive tape or other fixation means.

Renew the dressing, according to the instructions for use, 1 or 2 times a day depending on the prescription, the wound condition or the dressing.

For wound dressings, do not use more than 4 compresses per day.

Precautions for use:
  • Regularly monitor the wound and its surrounding area in order to detect signs of infection such as pain, redness, edema, odor, or suppuration.

In case of any doubt or infection, contact your physician or health care professional.

  • A wound or a cut is considered as superficial if it only reaches the skin or the immediate underlying fats.

If an accidental superficial wound overpasses 3 cm, a doctor should be consulted within the 6 hours following the accident to determine if the wound should be sutured or cared (glued with a special surgical adhesive, …).

  • Single use sterile compress: do not re-use, do not keep a pad in an opened sachet, do not reuse or reposition an already applied pad, otherwise risk of infection.
  • Compresses sterilized with ethylene oxide, do not re-sterilize. Check the integrity of the sterility protector before use. Do not use if the packaging is damaged.
  • Do not use compresses for more than 30 consecutive days without interruption
  • Keep out of reach and out of sight from children.
